The northern bobwhite cannot be restored in Arkansas even to a fraction of its prolific numbers of yesterday without help from landowners. The necessary components that will re-establish the early successional habitat required by the northern bobwhite will benefit many other species of wildlife such as white-tailed deer, turkey, song birds and more. Pollinators will benefit from a landscape that includes more native grasses, less forest canopy and heavy undergrowth among trees. With proper land management techniques applied during the right season landowners can alter the habitat on their property to provide more conducive all wildlife.
