FAYETTEVILLE – The Ozark Prairie Chapter of Quail Forever has announced it will host the first annual Quail Forever Banquet on Feb. 9, 2019 in Fayetteville. The event will be held at the Fayetteville Town Center on Mountain Street starting at 6 p.m.
The family-friendly, casual evening will include dinner provided by Slim Chickens and drinks. Kids activities will be available to entertain the youngest attendees. A silent and live auction will also be part of the festivities. Auction and raffle items include firearms, hunting trip packages and an Arkansas Duck Stamp print signed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.
The Ozark Prairie Chapter of Quail Forever is looking to establish a strong presence in Northwest Arkansas with this event.
“The newest Arkansas Game and Fish Commission nature center coming to Springdale in 2020 will provide visibility to the Bringing Back the Bobwhite quail restoration initiative in the northwest part of the state,” said Kevin Mullins, chapter president. “As outdoor enthusiasts, our goal for not only this event but our chapter is to improve Arkansas habitat restoration and youth education.”
Members of Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation will be on hand at the event to give an update on the Springdale nature center.
Tickets start at $50 for an individual and $75 for a couple. Additionally, two tiers of sponsor tables are available, and all ticket sales include a Quail Forever membership. To get your tickets or inquire about sponsor levels, visit pheasantsforeverevents.org or email OzarkPrairieQF@gmail.com.
