Randy Zellers Assistant Chief of Communications

LITTLE ROCK - One of the most requested items from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission rolls off the presses and heads to people’s mailboxes each July. The calendar issue of Arkansas Wildlife magazine, the award-winning magazine of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, is being delivered to subscribers’ doors as you read this, and it’s not too late to act to get your hands on one.

“Each year we receive hundreds of requests for free calendars, and when we had printing overruns we were happy to oblige, but tighter printing budgets have decreased the number of leftovers available,” said Randy Zellers, assistant chief of communications for the AGFC. “We have to reserve any extra copies for new subscribers. But at only $12 per year, you’ll get five issues of the bimonthly magazine in addition to this year’s calendar as well as next year’s.”

The 2020-21 Arkansas Wildlife calendar features 13 months full of hunting, fishing and wildlife-watching information as well as stunning photographs of native Arkansas animals in the wild. Hunting season dates, holidays, special events, sunrise/sunset times and so much more are available on each square of the July-July calendar. This year’s calendar also features inspiring quotes about nature from famous, and a few not-so-famous, but important conservationists through the years.

Visit www.agfc.com/arkansaswildlife or call 501-223-6351 to subscribe by the end of July to get your copy of this year’s calendar. You’ll also receive next year’s calendar as part of your subscription. A one-year subscription – six bimonthly issues – is only $12. Order two years for $20 or three years for $25.
