Southeast Arkansas WMAs closed March 8-13

MONTICELLO – Trusten Holder, Freddie Black Choctaw Island, Cut-Off Creek and Seven Devils wildlife management areas will be closed to daytime public access March 8-13. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Services, in cooperation with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be conducting aerial operations aimed at reducing feral hog populations on the areas. The flights will be dependent on the weather.
UA Pine Tree WDA closed March 1-6

FORREST CITY – The University of Arkansas Pine Tree Experimental Station WDA will be closed to daytime public access March 1-6. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Wildlife Services, in cooperation with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will be conducting aerial operations aimed at reducing feral hog populations in the area.
