Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame breaks records, Foundation sets sights on Northwest Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — More than 1,700 supporters of conservation in Arkansas gathered at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, Saturday, Aug. 24, for the 28th annual Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame Banquet.

LITTLE ROCK — The 2019 Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame is coming up Saturday, August 24 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. This year marks the 28th anniversary of this celebration of the outdoors and the men and women who have stepped up to promote Arkansas’s natural resources. 

First Commissioners’ Cup bass tournament exceeds expectations

HOT SPRINGS – The first Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Commissioners’ Cup, presented by Xpress Boats, “exceeded our expectations,” AGFF President Deke Whitbeck said after the two-day high school bass fishing event held on Lake Hamilton.
 

Commissioners’ Cup bass tournament focused on next generation of anglers

LITTLE ROCK – Thanks to the efforts of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation and many volunteers, and donations from Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners, high school anglers in Arkansas have a new pinnacle to pursue in bass fishing: the Commissioners’ Cup. In its inaugural year, the tournament will take place on Lake Hamilton June 1-2.

2019 Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame inductees announced

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation announced April 22 the 2019 Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame inductees, to be recognized at ceremonies in August in Little Rock.

Inductees include: MaryAnn King of London, Catherine and Tommy Murchison III of Cabot, Woody Futrell of Nashville and the McCollum Family of Stuttgart.

AEDC receives $65,000 from Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation

LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Economic Development Commission announced today it has received $65,000 for its Division of Rural Services Unpaved Roads Grant Program. The funding was made possible through the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation with private funds that were contributed by the now dissolved Arkansas Water Foundation.
