Twenty-one Arkansans draw elk hunting permits

JASPER – Twenty-one Arkansans will have the hunt of a lifetime this fall as they chase elk on public land in The Natural State. Their names were chosen during the Annual Buffalo River Elk Festival in Jasper Saturday.

Buffalo National River closure includes angling, turkey hunting

JASPER — Last week’s closure of the Buffalo National River closes all use of the Buffalo National River Wildlife Management Area until further notice. This includes a closure to angling in this section of the Buffalo, as well as turkey hunting within this WMA during the upcoming season.

Beautiful Buffalo River Action Committee Launches Website

BBRAC created an independent website to share relevant information regarding the preservation of the Buffalo River as a state and national landmark. The website provides information about BBRAC, useful resources and engagement opportunities for the public.
