Youth hunters need customer identification number to check game

LITTLE ROCK — Tens of thousands of young hunters will be hitting the field Nov. 5 and 6, and if they’re lucky they’ll be taking pictures wearing their hunter orange posing with their deer. Make sure the experience goes as smoothly as possible by ensuring that they have a customer ID number ready to check the deer in their name.

LITTLE ROCK — The kickoff to modern gun season is less than two weeks away, but hunters under 16 will get an early crack at a deer this weekend during the Arkansas modern gun youth deer hunt.

LITTLE ROCK — All hunters, including those under 16, will need to have a free, AGFC-issued Customer Identification Number to check big game or participate in permit drawings beginning this season.
