AGFC wetland management focus of DU podcast series

MEMPHIS — The recent changes announced to Arkansas’s greentree reservoir management have drawn the attention of many duck hunters in The Natural State, and thanks to the help of Ducks Unlimited, the word about Arkansas’s efforts to restore flooded timber duck hunting are being broadcast on a national scale. Three episodes of DU’s national podcast are available, which cover the science behind greentree reservoirs, the need for change and the plans the AGFC has to restore some of these damaged wetlands while maintaining as much public access as possible.

AGFC approves funds for crucial repair work

Asa Hutchinson today to announce the passage of House Concurrent Resolution 1014 in support of efforts to boost waterfowl and waterfowl habitat in The Natural State.

Ducks Unlimited honors Boozman, Ronquest for achievements in wetland conservation

DENVER – Two Arkansans were honored at Friday’s North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference by Ducks Unlimited for their work in promoting and conserving North America’s wetlands and waterfowl. Senator John Boozman and Jim Ronquest, producer of Rich-N-Tone videos, were recognized with two of the six awards DU presented.
