The Wild Science Webinar is a monthly series featuring Arkansas Game and Fish Commission staff and guest speakers presenting research and projects about Arkansas fish and wildlife. Percy Marshall, a Graduate Student from the Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville will be presenting "The Egyptian Goose: Tracking an Invasion" and Joe Adams, Hatchery Manager, will be presenting "An Overview of Methods Used at the C.B. "Charlie" Craig State Fish Hatchery to Spawn and Culture Walleye".

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is working with the University of Arkansas’s Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit to study the recent increase in nonnative Egyptian Geese occurring in Arkansas. The species, once popular in zoos and aviaries, has escaped and formed wild populations in many states, including portions of Arkansas.
