Five catch bonus prizes in Family and Community fishing locations

LITTLE ROCK — Thanks to a donation from the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, five lucky anglers who have turned in tags from trout caught this winter will receive $100 Bass Pro Shops gift cards.

LITTLE ROCK — One of the annual traditions at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is the yearly stocking of rainbow trout to Family and Community Fishing Program locations from November through February. Another tradition is to add special prize-winning tags to randomly selected fish in these stockings for anglers to enjoy even more.

LITTLE ROCK — Turkey, dressing and football may be at the front of people’s thoughts during the Thanksgiving holiday, but the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has another tradition some people may want to take part in. The AGFC’s Family and Community Fishing Program is busy stocking rainbow trout in FCFP locations throughout the state. 

Drawing for tagged catfish prizes Nov. 5

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a Facebook Live drawing at 10 a.m. Nov. 5, to announce the winners of the Family and Community Fishing Program’s fall tagged catfish promotion. In addition to the prize packs already received by people who have turned in their tag from fish caught in FCFP ponds, the AGFC will be giving away three half-day fishing trips for two on Beaver Lake, complements of J.T. Crappie Guide Services.
