AGFC waives fishing license requirement during extended spring break in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, in cooperation with Gov. Asa Hutchinson, voted during a specially called meeting today to waive all fishing license and trout permit requirements for residents and nonresidents starting this weekend at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, March 21 through 11:59 p.m Sunday, March 29.

You are hereby notified that Commissioners of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 19 to discuss adopting Free Fishing Week from March 20-29 to allow anglers to fish without a license.

LITTLE ROCK – Thanks to a proclamation by Gov. Asa Hutchinson, anyone may fish in Arkansas without a fishing license or trout stamp from noon, Friday, June 7, through midnight Sunday night, June 9.
