AGFC follows through for recreational shooters with new division and partnerships

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Director Austin Booth announced the formation of a new branch within the AGFC’s ranks to focus on recreational shooting and the development of shooting ranges and programs throughout The Natural State at today’s regularly scheduled Commission meeting.

Commission approves renovation to Lake Conway, Martin passes gavel to Jones

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission heard and approved plans at Thursday’s regular meeting to begin the construction of a new spillway system at Craig D. Campbell Lake Conway Reservoir and the subsequent renovation of the 6,700-acre lake in central Arkansas.

AGFC announces plans to renovate Lake Conway

MAYFLOWER — Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Director Austin Booth announced official plans today to begin the renovation of Craig D. Campbell Lake Conway Reservoir. The plan includes replacing the lake’s aging spillway and will be the largest lake renovation project in the agency’s 108-year history.
