“Arkansas Wildlife” returns Sept. 26 on KATV Channel 7

LITTLE ROCK - Arkansas Wildlife, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s award-winning television series, returns to the airwaves at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 26 on Little Rock-based KATV Channel 7.

Lake Jack Nolen set for fall drawdown

GREENWOOD — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will lower the water level of Lake Jack Nolen following the Labor Day Holiday. The drawdown will lower the lake’s water level by 3 to 5 feet and should last until mid-winter.

Public meetings scheduled for DeGray Lake Fisheries Management Plan

ARKADELPHIA — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is hosting two public meetings to gather fishing-related public input on DeGray Lake. The meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., June 20 and 27 at the Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation Department at 2555 Twin Rivers Drive in Arkadelphia.

Second public input meeting scheduled for trout management on White and North Fork rivers

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a special public workshop from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Aug. 24, at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center in Convention Center Rooms A and B. The center is located on the ASU Mountain Home campus.  The purpose of the workshop is to review and revise the Bull Shoals and Norfork Tailwaters Trout Management Plan.
