AGFC takes to the air for Millwood waterfowl habitat

SARATOGA - Thanks to a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwest Arkansas Water District and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, waterfowl migrating through the southwestern corner of the state will have hundreds of acres of prime habitat waiting on them, all of it delivered by special air delivery.

Anyone interested in pursuing alligators on public land in Arkansas must apply for one of the six hunting locations within two of Arkansas’s three open Alligator Management Zones.
Invasive plant threatens angling, hunting at Millwood Lake

ASHDOWN — Giant salvinia, a harmful aquatic plant, was discovered in Millwood Lake Monday, Dec. 28, by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Army Corps of Engineers staff. This is the fourth known location in southern Arkansas infected by the aquatic invasive species.
