Ducks are observed by drone over a field that was soaked by recent rains. After a dry several weeks to the Arkansas 2021-22 duck season, recent rain events have given waterfowl more habitat in state to stay awhile during migration.

Youths 15 and and under, active military and veterans have a duck hunt day in Arkansas all to themselves on Saturday, the first of two special hunt days for this season. Everyone else can be back in the duck woods on Dec. 11 for the second portion of the 60-day season.
