Copper Smith of Marion, Illinois, hunted speckebellies (greater white-fronted geese) near Harrisburg recently. While regular duck season is on a 10-day hiatus in Arkansas, hunters can harvest specks through Friday and again from Sunday until Dec. 23, with the final segment running Dec. 26-Jan.31 concurrent with duck season.
