STUTTGART — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host an open workshop from 9 a.m.-noon on Oct. 7 at Hampton Farms (239 Lodges Corner Rd., Stuttgart, AR) for anyone interested in learning how to increase duck abundance on their property without cutting the efficiency of their farming operation.
Biologists from the AGFC’s Private Land Habitat Division and fellow landowners will offer on-site demonstrations on techniques to improve waterfowl habitat quality without losing crop production value on your land. In fact, some techniques can actually increase efficiency of your operation as well as increase duck abundance to make your land more attractive to hunters seeking to lease properties for duck season.
Presenters also will cover how the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission can help find money to offset the costs associated with implementing these high-quality conservation practices.
This field day opportunity was made possible by the AGFC’s recent partnership with Greenway Equipment. Greenway is a cultivating partner with the AGFC, providing equipment and knowledge vital to many conservation actions taken by the AGFC's Private Lands Habitat Division.
