Karen VanAnrooy, who is from Missouri, pulled this beautiful, 19-inch rainbow trout from the Beaver Lake tailwaters recently. She was fishing with guide Austin Kennedy.

Lou Gabric, the operator of Hummingbird Hideway Resort on Norfork Lake in north Arkansas, and a contributor to the Weekly Fishing Report, has been getting out more these days on Norfork and landing some nice fish. Here he's shown with a nice stringer of walleye, and he says the crappie, walleye and catfish are all biting fairly well now on Norfork Lake.

The rainbow trout have been hitting great on the Spring River in northeast Arkansas, according to guide Mark Crawford, and angler Debra Heaton (pictured) got to experience that recently with Mark. Small nymphs have been great for numbers. Blue-wing olives and caddis are hatching heavy most days. Anything to imitate them works. He adds that spin-fishing has been hot with Trout Magnets with the low, clear water.
