LITTLE ROCK — With the annual white-tailed deer rut beginning to decline across most of the state, many hunters are beginning to trade in their deer rifles for duck guns, but there’s still plenty of time left to claim a spot in Arkansas’s deer hunting honor roll by completing the Triple Trophy Award.

STUTTGART – Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners heard reports on the AGFC’s wetlands and waterfowl management programs at today’s scheduled meeting in Stuttgart. The timing of the subjects was on point as the meeting was sandwiched between the Commission’s Stuttgart Town Hall Meeting, where waterfowl were a key focus of the public, and the opening of duck season in The Natural State.

LITTLE ROCK — Hunters headed to deer camp to get things ready for opening weekend of modern gun deer season may want to make a quick pitstop to fuel up at their local star-struck fast-food chain. Every Hardee’s restaurant in Arkansas will give a free sausage biscuit to anyone who shows their valid hunting license to the cashier from 5-11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7.
