Lake Charles in northeast Arkansas is turning out some nice bass. Justin Yancey caught this near 6-pounder and another that topped 6 pounds in Lake Charles in recent weeks. He says the bite has been slow but steady and he has been using moving baits.

ASHDOWN — Anglers visiting Millwood Lake in Southwest Arkansas now have a fresh new facility to launch their boats, thanks to the completion of the first phase of planned improvements at Yarborough Landing in Little River County.

Graeme Shaw, who was visiting Arkansas from Missoula, Montana, earlier this month, caught this nice rainbow on the White River. He estimated it to be about 14 pounds and released it after this photo. "It's the biggest rainbow I've ever caught worldwide."
