Brandon Lammers of Texas hauled in this nice brown trout measuring just over 19 inches in length from the Beaver Lake tailwater. Photo provided by Austin Kennedy. There were lots of big brown trout sitings and catches in the Arkansas trout waters this past week, as they appear on the move.

Brandon Pellham caught this 26.5-inch-long brown trout at Parker Bottoms in the Beaver Lake tailwater last Friday. Brandon was using a 2.5-inch Rapala Husky Jerk Minnow on a Fenwick HMG Rod, Mitchell308 reel with a 6-pound Power Pro Braid. Brandon released the trout back to the tailwater after this photo; perhaps another angler will catch it someday, he said. Photo provided by Jeremy Brown.
