The impressive smallmouth bass was caught by one of guide Del Colvin's clients, Mike K. (no last name provided) this past week on Bull Shoals Lake. One of Beaver Lake fishing guide Jon Conklin's regular clients from Texas (above) and another fishing buddy ventured up to Northwest Arkansas and had a great trip recently. Crappie, stripers and walleye are all biting in the big lake.

Chuck Lajuanesse returned to the Spring River to join guide Mark Crawford on the trek for hungry smallmouth, walleye and trout. Crawford said the river is low but clear and at the right temperature for a good bite from those species.
