Vandalism of archeological site nets felony convictions

BOONEVILLE – Looting or vandalizing a Native American burial ground led to felony convictions of two men in Logan County earlier this year. Both were sentenced to 36 months of jail time and were each ordered to pay restitution of $2,000.

HOT SPRINGS – More than 200 citations and 400 warnings were issued to boaters on Arkansas waters last week as part of two operations by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Law Enforcement Division, according to Col. Greg Rae, chief of the division.
