Unless otherwise stated, meetings will be held at the AGFC offices, 2 Natural Resources Dr. in Little Rock.

Little Red River Nimmo Access ramp renovation delayed

SEARCY — The boat ramp at the Nimmo Access on the Little Red River was scheduled to be replaced in the coming weeks. However, due to ongoing work across the river on Mallard Pond Road at Hurricane WMA, the Nimmo Access ramp project will be postponed until further notice.
Waterfowl guidebook available online

LITTLE ROCK — The 2021-22 Waterfowl Guidebook will soon be arriving in AGFC regional offices, nature centers and local sporting goods stores and license vendors throughout the state. An electronic version also is available for those who want to carry a copy on their smartphone, or simply want to get a sneak peek at what’s new for the season.
Bear hunters needed to provide research samples

SPRINGDALE — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is asking anyone who harvests a bear in the Ouachita Mountains or Ozarks to consider helping collect valuable samples from their bear to help research an increased occurrence of mange in the Ozark bear population.
