Printed permits required for Camp Robinson WMA turkey hunts

LITTLE ROCK — Officials at Camp Joseph T. Robinson Maneuver Training Center are asking all hunters who drew a Camp Robinson Wildlife Management Area turkey permit hunt to use paper copies of their drawn permit for the upcoming season instead of electronic copies on their smartphones.

Buffalo National River closure includes angling, turkey hunting

JASPER — Last week’s closure of the Buffalo National River closes all use of the Buffalo National River Wildlife Management Area until further notice. This includes a closure to angling in this section of the Buffalo, as well as turkey hunting within this WMA during the upcoming season.

AGFC opens virtual nature center

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Game and Fish Commission nature and education centers may have had to shut their doors to the public because of the coronavirus, but that doesn’t mean our educators can’t continue introducing families to the outdoors.
