LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be ramping up efforts at disease-monitoring surveys, beginning Sept. 17, and are asking motorists to help by reporting any road-killed deer they see along Arkansas’s roads and highways.

CASSCOE - Dale Bumpers White River National Wildlife Refuge, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation will host a special hunting experience at Cooks Lake, Dec. 1-2, 2018, and have opened up the application period to run through Oct. 1.
Many CWD testing options available for 2018-19 deer season

LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has activated many options for hunters to test their harvested deer for chronic wasting disease for the upcoming hunting season. All methods to test deer for CWD in Arkansas are voluntary and most are free of charge to the hunter.
Waterproof game tags available in 2018-19 Arkansas Hunting Guidebook

LITTLE ROCK - Arkansas deer hunters saw a big change in the way they could check their deer last year. Many, however, were left wanting their old waterproof game tags to ensure their deer were properly marked. This year those tags are right inside the annual hunting guidebooks being delivered to stores across the state in the next few weeks.
AGFC adds 975 acres to Cypress Bayou WMA

BEEBE - Thanks to a partnership with The Trust for Public Land and the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has added 975 acres of access for hunters to Cypress Bayou Wildlife Management Area in White County, boosting that WMA to approximately 2,638 acres of publicly accessible wildlife habitat.
