AGFC proposing fishing regulation change at Sugar Loaf Lake

MIDLAND — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is taking public comments on a proposal to remove the 13- to 16-inch length limit on largemouth bass at Sugar Loaf Lake in Sebastian County.

AGFC fixing Lake Greenlee’s leaky pipes

BRINKLEY — Contractors with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission are working to repair the discharge pipe from Marion McCollum Lake Greenlee in Brinkley after evidence of a leak began to erode away a small portion of the lake’s levee.

BENTON — A recent partnership between the City of Benton’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission may provide a template for success in introducing youth to the joys of angling in Arkansas. Four groups of children, aged 4 through 13, and their parents all had the opportunity to participate in a special multi-class fishing program at Benton’s River Center recreation complex.

Changes to east Arkansas hunting areas planned to save duck habitat
