Conder claims triple trophy award at 6 years old

Arkansas hunter Shawn Conder was fortunate and dedicated enough to not only introduce his son and both of his daughters to hunting with successful seasons, but also lead his youngest, Callie Ann, to a Triple Trophy Award in her first year deer hunting. She is one of four 6-year-olds to claim a Triple Trophy Award last deer season, harvesting a deer with a modern gun, muzzleloader and archery tackle within the same deer season.

Outdoor Hall of Fame banquet to celebrate 2023 inductees

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation will induct six new members to the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame including the recipients of its Legacy Award and the Steve Smith Spirit of Giving Award at the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame Banquet Aug. 26, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

Additional dove fields planned for Labor Day Weekend

LITTLE ROCK —For the last seven years, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has cranked the excitement to Labor Day Weekend by adding a few special draw hunts on managed dove fields. The application window for those hunts is closed and applicants can visit www.agfc.com/license and click the "Special Hunt Application Status" tab to see their results. If you weren’t lucky in the draw, you can still make your own luck by checking out one of the other opening day opportunities being prepared by AGFC staff for dove season.

AGFC takes to the air for Millwood waterfowl habitat
