Lake Hamilton, as seen from the new hiking trail on Electric Island on the southeast side of the lake, about a mile from the Andrew H. Hulsey State Fish Hatchery. Lake Hamilton, according to our reports from Greeson Marine in the Fishing Report, is at prime fishing temperature this week and the fall bite is happening.

A nice bass is taken out of Lake Atkins in west-central Arkansas, near Russellville. Lake Atkins is clear and cooling off, and bass are biting as we head toward fall.
